Gregers Wegener is Chief Physician at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark, and Associate Professor at University of Aarhus. For more than 15 years he has been involved in Open Source Software development on projects ranging from server-infrastructure to content-management systems. He has designed and contributed to the launch of several websites in many different areas.

Dr. Wegener got his MD from University of Aarhus (Denmark) in 1997, followed by a PhD in Neuroscience & Pharmacology in 2000. After internship and various clinical work, Dr. Wegener decided to focus efforts on preclinical research, with a particular interest in novel therapeutics in stress-related disorders. He has had the pleasure of the excellent mentorship of Mogens Schou, Donald Smith and Raben Rosenberg.

Dr. Wegener is also Secretary of the the Danish Society for Biological Psychiatry and the Scandinavian College of Neuro-Psychopharmacology.
