[Translate to ZH:] Gregers Wegener is Chief Physician at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark, and also works as Associate Professor at University of Aarhus, Denmark.

He was appointed as webmaster for the CINP homepage in May 2008, and has for more than 15 years, besides a scientific career, been involved in Open Source Software development on projects ranging from server-infrastructure to content-management systems. He have designed and contributed to the launch of several websites in many different areas.

Gregers Wegener got his MD from University of Aarhus (Denmark) in 1997, followed by a PhD in Neuroscience & Pharmacology in 2000.

After internship and various clinical duties, Gregers Wegener decided to focus efforts on preclinical research, with a particular interest in novel therapeutics in stress-related disorders.

He has had the pleasure of the excellent mentorship of Mogens Schou, Donald Smith and Raben Rosenberg.

Besides research and teaching, Gregers Wegener works as secretary in the boards of both the Danish Society for Biological Psychiatry and the Scandinavian College of Neuro-Psychopharmacology.
