Good Clinical Practice On-Line Course
The CINP educational committee is pleased to offer CINP members free online training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP). This has been facilitated through a partnership with Quintiles Inc. Please help us to publicize this opportunity to colleagues. The value of this course alone is higher than CINP membership dues. Please let non-CINP colleagues know about this online offering, and encourage them to apply for membership. This GCP course adds to the free content on the educational portal on the CINP web site, which already includes access to the NEI/Stahl Psychopharmacology education content.
The course titled: Introduction to Clinical Drug Development Process: ICH/FDA Good Clinical Practice for Clinical Trial Sites is an online educational programme containing six (6) one-hour modules designed for clinical and research staff. CINP Hong Kong 2010 - Educational Track
The CINP has always had a strong commitment to increasing knowledge on advances in neuropsychopharmacology and the treatment of disorders of the human brain. This is best exemplified by the ongoing Educational Program which is a major component of the CINP Congress. The CINP is unique in the neuropsychopharmacology field in that it does not have a regional focus; rather it seeks to reach across boundaries to all researchers in the area of neuropsychopharmacology. In line with this philosophy, and the CINP 2010 meeting being in the Asia/Pacific region, the Education Program in Hong Kong will have presentations in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. This will allow the Education Program to project the unique approaches to neuropsychopharmacology and the treatment of disorders of the brain being pioneered in the Asia Pacific Region.

Psychopharmacology Workshops - South Africa
A two day course in psychopharmacology was held in Cape Town, South Africa on 31 October and 1 November 2009. The meeting was organized by the Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum (CINP) and endorsed by the South African Society of Psychiatrists (SASOP). The aim of the course was to provide psychiatrists and neuroscientists in South Africa with up-to date evidence-based information in the key areas in clinical psychopharmacology. This was an advanced course, pitched at a post-graduate level. The number of delegates was restricted to 30. The course was sponsored by way of an unrestricted educational grant from Servier. The meeting was registered for CPD points and certificates were issued to delegates. This was the first of a series of meetings to be held at different venues in South Africa – two per year over three years. It will be conducted in accordance with
CINP and SASOP guidelines. The meeting is organized by Robin Emsley.
